Charming Ute…
One of the most complete artists ever, Ute Lemper was on stage tonight. A breathtaking show at the Accademia Nazionale di St. Cecilia. A perfomer, an author, a dancer, a singer, an actress…. what else?
Addressing to the audience in three languages, her repertory goes from Astor Piazzolla to Nick Cave, from Edith Piaf to Elvis Costello, with a tribute to the Italian composer Nino Rota, singing Amarcord. An amazing experience, in the new show “Last tango in Berlin” she has left her beloved atmosphere of the European cabaret of the ’20 and ‘30 to introduce the passion of tango. Dramatic, sensual, fascinating, strong and delicate, she leads you on a trip all over the world in every possible language!
The show was sold out since long and I felt lucky to be there.
